Due to a change in her plans, Juliet Schor, Ph.D., whose name was included in early conference publicity, will not be able to participate as a Plenary Speaker in the 2009 ESR Conference.  We are disappointed to lose her voice from the conference, but the message she shares is available through the Internet and in her writings.

Dr. Schor is a Board member and co-founder of the Center for the New American Dream whose mission is to “Help Americans consume responsibly to protect the environment, enhance quality of life, and promote social justice.”
